A Dedicated Classroom Named After Professor Doskalı Naimanov Opened at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Baitursynuly University
Today, in a solemn ceremony at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Baitursynuly University, a dedicated classroom was officially opened in honor of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Doskalı Naimanov.
Classroom No. 308 in Building 4 of the university will now bear the name of the respected educator, scientist, and long-time mentor of the Department of Food Security and Biotechnology.
The opening was timed to coincide with the professor’s 85th birthday.
The ceremony brought together colleagues, students, and university leadership, headed by Rector Seitbek Kuanishbayev.
Guests were invited to view a special exhibition featuring a mini-library, a photo gallery, a collection of awards and diplomas, and the professor’s original honorary badges.
“Respect for our elders is a part of our tradition, and today’s event is a clear testament to that,” noted the rector, emphasizing the importance of the occasion. “It’s rare to find students who speak of their teacher with such warmth. Today, the entire faculty stands united in your honor. You still radiate energy, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to work. We look forward to your future ideas and achievements—there are many more to come!”
At the end of the ceremony, the professor was presented with commemorative gifts.
“To be honest, I feel like I’m at a joyful celebration,” said Doskalı Kurmashevich. “I am truly grateful to all of you!”
The meeting concluded with a friendly tea gathering in an atmosphere filled with respect, fond memories, and heartfelt wishes for the jubilarian.
