International Scientific and Practical Conference “Animal Husbandry as a Driver of Sustainable Agricultural Development” Held at Baitursynuly University
The event was dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the esteemed scientist, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Doscali Naimanov, whose name has become a symbol of dedication to science.
The main goal of the conference was to honor the outstanding scholar who made a significant contribution to the development of agricultural science in Kazakhstan and to present his life path as an example of professional devotion for the younger generation.
Participants included the professor’s students, university leadership, and international colleagues.
Doscali Kurmashevich has been a mentor and an example of professionalism and human dignity for many.
His name is known far beyond the borders of Kazakhstan. He represented domestic agricultural science on the international stage and collaborated with foreign scientists.
The opening speech was delivered by Baitursynuly University Rector, Seitbek Kuanyshbaev, who highlighted the professor’s contribution to agricultural science and presented him with a traditional Kazakh shapan as a token of gratitude.
“Your contribution to science is a pride of the university. May this anniversary mark the beginning of new achievements and well-deserved recognition,” noted the rector.
A highlight of the event was the awarding of the certificate and badge of “Honored Worker of Higher Education of Kazakhstan” to Professor Naimanov, bestowed by the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Among the speakers was the professor’s student, director of LLP “NPC ZhIV” Anuarbek Bissembayev, who said:
“When I first heard you speak in 1999, I realized I wanted to dedicate myself to agriculture. You are a true mentor who taught us discipline and love for the profession,” he shared.
Concluding the meeting, Professor Doscali Naimanov expressed his gratitude:
“I sincerely thank everyone who came today. I wish you health, well-being, and success in all areas of life.”
