Today, students of Baitursynuly University met with the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Elmira Nauryzbayeva.
The meeting was held under the theme “Examination Session: Answers to All Questions.”
Students had the opportunity to submit questions anonymously in advance via a Google form. The Vice Rector carefully reviewed all submissions and provided detailed responses.
During the open meeting, a free microphone format was used. In addition, students were able to ask questions during a live Instagram broadcast.
As a result, all issues of concern to students were discussed, including examinations, retakes, appeals, vacant grants, transfers, reinstatement, internships, and employment.
Key questions and answers:
– When will the scholarship be paid?
– By December 30.
– Is it possible to transfer to another educational program?
– Yes. To do so, students must complete the current semester without academic debts and submit an application through the dean’s office.
– If I have 69 points in one subject, is there a risk of losing my scholarship and how can the grade be improved?
– Yes, there is a risk. You may submit an appeal, and it is advisable to do so as soon as possible.
The student who asked the last question has already received the Vice Rector’s direct contact details, and the issue will be resolved within the next one or two days.
Such meetings will be held on a regular basis, but in a new and more convenient format. Stay tuned for updates.
