"I would like to start by saying that the city of Yanlin, where I am studying, reminds me in some ways of Kostanay, so I adapted to life here quite quickly. The local people are friendly and willing to help when needed. The food here is very diverse and affordable, and despite common stereotypes, I have not seen any fried bugs or baked grasshoppers.
As for the university, it is divided into two campuses: the northern and the southern ones. Most of my studies take place on the southern campus. The southern campus has a wide range of infrastructure, including a pond, fountains, a large sports field, and numerous gardens.
The infrastructure includes an enormous library, comparable in size to an entire football field, many greenhouses where students take practical exams, and dormitories equipped with all necessary facilities. There are also museums dedicated to the science of agronomy, as well as academic buildings where classes are held.
In the gardens, students grow various plants, mainly fruit trees. Access to the university territory is provided through gates located in the northwestern and eastern parts of the campus, where security is on duty around the clock.
I live in a rented apartment paid for with targeted funds allocated by the government, which are generally intended to cover food expenses and transportation to the university."
