The meeting focused on discussing approaches to the development of a new program document in the field of anti-corruption policy.
A key issue on the agenda was the completion this year of the Concept of Anti-Corruption Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022–2026.
The document marked an important transition from combating the consequences of corruption to systematically eliminating its root causes and fostering a sustainable anti-corruption culture in society.
Participants also emphasized recent legislative developments. Currently, the Mazhilis is reviewing the draft Law “On Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency within the public administration system.
During the meeting, representatives of the department and the academic community discussed key priorities for anti-corruption policy in the upcoming period.
