A roundtable on the prevention of illegal gambling and gambling addiction took place at the “Adaldyk Alany” office in Kostanay.
Representing Baitursynuly University were Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work Nurlikhan Temirbekov, compliance officer Darkhan Belgibayev, and youth policy specialist Ablaikhan Osipov.
The event was organized by the office of the Akim of Kostanay region. The participants discussed the negative consequences of gambling addiction, the prevention of violations of anti-corruption restrictions on gambling in gambling establishments and places not designated for this purpose, as well as the implementation of a comprehensive plan to combat illegal gambling and gambling addiction in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2024-2026.
