PUBLIC SERVICE: challenges and prospects

Baitursynuly University hosted a round table discussion on "Modern Civil Service: Challenges and Prospects."

The event was organized by the Kostanay Regional Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in conjunction with the Faculty of Economics and Law of the KRU.

The meeting was moderated by Zhenis Zharlygasov, Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation, and Digitalization at KRU.

Erlan Salykbayev, Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the Kostanay Region and Chairman of the Ethics Council, delivered a welcoming speech.

The speakers analyzed important topics: "High-quality civil service: early career guidance as a guarantee of success for young people," "Feedback on the Concept   for the development of the civil service," and "The need for young personnel in rural areas and opportunities created for young people."

A number of proposals on the concept of civil service development were made by the round table participants.

Aidar Baykin, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law at KRU, thanked the department's management for their long-standing cooperation and made proposals on systematizing interaction between government agencies and the faculty.
