KRU Takes 1st Place in “Polylogue” Debate Competition

Students of Baitursynuly University took part in the regional one-speech debate competition “Polylogue” and demonstrated strong results.
The main goal of the competition was to develop young people’s public speaking potential and deepen their understanding of the country’s socio-political life.
The topics of participants’ speeches covered key areas of the national agenda, including:
implementation of the “Law and Order” concept
declaring 2026 as the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence
the 185th anniversary of Ybyrai Altynsarin
the 35th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan
implementation of the environmental culture concept “Taza Kazakhstan”
The university was represented by:
Indira Artykbay (4th year, Kazakh Language and Literature)
Dias Suleimen (1st year, Pedagogy and Psychology)
Sabina Atepileva (2nd year, Foreign Philology)
Competition results:
Kazakh League:
2nd place — Indira Artykbay
Russian League:
1st place — Sabina Atepileva
2nd place — Dias Suleimen
In the overall team standings, Kostanay Regional University named after Akhmet Baitursynuly took 1st place, confirming the high level of student training and oratory skills.
