Rector of the KRU Seitbek Kuanyshbayev met with the student parliament and university activists.
He immediately set the tone for the meeting: "Speak freely and ask any questions!"
The format was open, allowing students to approach the rector, express their concerns, and share their ideas for 2026.
Even if a solution was not immediately found, it was recorded and subsequently addressed.
Students discussed literally everything: from capricious elevators in the pedagogical institute to specific offices, the conditions for working out grants, and, of course, they didn't forget about leisure.
– Will the trips be funded for debates?
– Make a schedule by June 1: what amount is needed and for what. After that, we will allocate funds. If it's only about the road, there are no problems, and the funding for the trips will be provided.
– I would like the light music in the auditorium to be fixed.
– It is already planned to renew it in 2026. I agree, this is important.
By the way, after the new year, the renovated assembly hall will open its doors in the building on Abai Avenue.
The sessions will end by December 29, so that non-residents can safely return home.
For the 4th year, there will be an individual meeting on employment, where they can discuss everything in person. And the cherry on top: at the end of the meeting, the rector provided his mobile number, reminding students that they can contact him personally for important matters.
As a reminder, the Rector's blog is available on the ksu.edu.kz website.
