At the second stage of the Kazakhstan Speed Skating Cup, Baitursynuly University was represented by our student, Dmitry Osipenko.
The competition took place from October 29 to 31 in Astana, on the ice of the “Alau” Center.
This tournament is one of the key events of the season and determines the composition of the national team for the World Cup stages.
Dmitry is a second-year student at the Department of Theory and Practice of Physical Culture and Sports of the Pedagogical Institute at KRU.

These achievements bring the athlete closer to joining the national team and participating in the World Cup stages, where Olympic qualifications for the 2026 Games will be contested.
Next up is a training camp in the USA and the first stage of the World Cup, which will take place on November 14–16 in Salt Lake City.
