A student from Baitursynuly University has earned a license to compete in the World Kettlebell Lifting Championship.
The Republic of Kazakhstan Adult Kettlebell Lifting Championship was held from June 12 to 15 in the picturesque resort town of Shchuchinsk.
Fifteen regional teams, about two hundred athletes, including Anton STELMAK, a student of the Akhmet Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University (Department of Physical Education and Sports, 3rd year).
As part of the Kostanay region team, Anton showed a worthy result in the "Snatch" exercise - 129 lifts of a 32 kg kettlebell and became the champion of Kazakhstan.
This secured him a license to compete in the World Championships, which will be held in China (Hainan) in November this year.
