As part of the event program of the Engineering Academy, Baitursynuly University hosted EngineerTech-2025. Rural schoolchildren immersed themselves in the exciting world of technology and innovation and tested their skills in subject-specific Olympiads.
“Welcome to EngineerTech-2025 – an event we traditionally hold during the school holidays,” said Elmira Nauryzbayeva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the university. “It’s not just a knowledge and skills competition, but also a great opportunity for communication, sharing experiences, and finding inspiration.”
EngineerTech gathered students from the Karabalyk, Sarykol, Fedorovsky, and Kostanay districts. The program was full of activities. For students in grades 7–10, there were engaging competitions and business games that foster creative and technical thinking.
11th graders showcased their knowledge in Olympiads in physics, mathematics, and computer science. The Rector of the University, Seitbek Kuanyshbayev, personally awarded the winners with diplomas and valuable gifts: headphones, speakers, and power banks.
