As part of the Innovation Month, the Department of Philology and Practical Linguistics at Baitursynuly University held an intellectual and educational competition titled "The Status of the Language Is the Status of the Nation" (Тіл мәртебесі — ел мәртебесі).
Senior lecturers Aishagul Aidarbekovna Nurseitova, Aynur Tyulyugenovna Ispandyarova, Muratbay Duysenovich Zhumashev, and Roza Airoimbaevna Mukasheva prepared several stages of tasks for the students.
In the first stage, "Bi Battle"(Би батлы), participants had to demonstrate interaction with the audience — it was a test of teamwork. In the second stage, students competed in the intellectual game "Where Is the Logic?"(Логика қайда?). After that, they solved visual puzzles in "Journey to the Beautiful Places of Kazakhstan"(Қазақстанның көрікті жерлеріне саяхат) and traditional riddles.
At the end of the competition, the following teams were awarded: "Zhalyn", "Bolashak", "Samgau", and "Qalamger".
Throughout the event, students demonstrated not only their knowledge, but also their ability to work as a team. The competition highlighted the importance of knowing the state language, increased interest in its study, and served as a motivation to further develop language culture.
