The Department of Education of the Kostanay Regional Akimat held an extended meeting for heads of district education departments, general (inclusive) and special education organizations, the Kostanay Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Consultation (PMPC), and the regional psychological-pedagogical correction offices.
The meeting was attended by Lyudmila Likhodedova, Head of the Department of Special Education at Baitursynuly University (KRU), Gulzhan Alipbayeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department, and students of the 3rd and 4th years of the Special Pedagogy (6B01901) program.
The discussion focused on the prospects for collaboration between the Department of Special Education and regional organizations in training students to become special educators (defectologists, speech therapists), as well as on professional development courses for practicing specialists in the role of teacher-assistant.
Information was also provided about newly established special and inclusive organizations in the region. Additionally, employment opportunities for graduates were discussed, and students were informed about available vacancies.
