A delegation from Akhmet Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University, led by Rector Seitbek Kuanyshbayev, took part in the national forum “Quality Assurance in Higher Education: Current State and Development Prospects.”
The event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and held at Nazarbayev University.
The large-scale forum brought together heads of higher and postgraduate education institutions, international experts, as well as specialists in accreditation and quality assurance.
On the first day, international workshops were conducted with the participation of accreditation agencies QAA, ASIIN, and NAAR. Participants discussed key issues related to preparing universities for international accreditation and fostering a strong culture of quality.
The second day featured thematic sessions focused on a more in-depth and practical examination of current challenges and priorities in quality assurance.
Following the forum, participants emphasized the importance of further strengthening quality assurance mechanisms, expanding international cooperation, and implementing best international practices within the national system of higher and postgraduate education.
