Strategic partnership

As a part of the Month of Methodological Innovations, a roundtable discussion on "The Role of Employers in Shaping the Professional Competencies of University Graduates" was held at Baitursynuly University.

The event was organized by the Department of Criminal and Civil Law and Procedure in collaboration with the stakeholders.

There were the representatives of organizations among the participants with which the university has signed cooperation memorandums: the Department of Police, the Prosecutor's Office, the Department of Judicial Administration of Kostanay Region, the Department of State Revenues, and the Department of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Also in attendance were the faculty members from the Department of Criminal and Civil Law and Procedure, the representatives of the Curriculum Committee, and second- and-third-year students of the "Law" and "Judicial and Law Enforcement Activities" programs.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law, Aidar Baykin who emphasized the importance of improving educational programs focused on the practical application of knowledge, skills, and social competencies acquired by the students at the university. He highlighted the need for joint applied scientific research and other forms of effective cooperation between the university and employers.

The employers proposed several specific measures to enhance students' practical training, including:
