A UNIQUE PROJECT BY PSYCHOLOGY INTERNS

The Center for Inclusive Education and Psychological Support at the university has become a practice base for students of our institution.

The interns are final-year students from the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. As part of their internship, they are conducting research within a first-year student group of the Faculty of Economics and Law.

The uniqueness of this group lies in the fact that since January it has included a student who requires an inclusive approach to learning. In cooperation with the dean’s office and all relevant university services, efforts are underway to create a barrier-free environment and ensure the student’s integration into the academic process in a face-to-face format. One of the key principles of inclusion is applied here: “Everyone needs each other.”

Under the supervision of Darkhan Mustafinov, a methodologist at the Center for Inclusive Education and Psychological Support, future psychologists are working to support the new student’s adaptation to in-person learning and to foster positive group dynamics and relationships within the student community.
