SCHOOL STUDENTS IN ACTION

Today, KRU welcomed high school students to the Department of Journalism and Communication Management, where they took part in the workshop “Media and the World of Future Professions.”

Students from Dievskaya Secondary School (Auliekol District) and School No. 115 named after A. Birimzhanov (Kostanay) eagerly participated in all activities.

Senior lecturer Gulshat Markabayeva and our fourth-year students didn’t just talk—they demonstrated how the media world truly works.

“Our main goal is to help schoolchildren choose their future profession, show what the work of a journalist or PR specialist really looks like, and give them a chance to boost their creative communication skills,” says Gulshat Tuleuovna.

The students immersed themselves in the hands-on work of the KRU media studio, met with university students who are already working in their fields, and received answers to all their questions.

One of the highlights was the task of preparing a media text and describing a sculpture— the classroom was buzzing with ideas and emotions!

The visitors admitted that they enjoyed their time with us. And we enjoyed having you!

We look forward to seeing you again—this time as KRU students!
