Students of Baitursynuly University delivered an outstanding performance at the Qostanai AI-Sana Industry Hackathon: Allur Challenge, taking 1st place and winning a 500,000 KZT prize!
The hackathon served as a platform where teams rapidly developed AI-based solutions for real businesses.
Its main goal was to bring together talented developers and innovative ideas to transform artificial intelligence into practical tools for companies and society. This is where technologies are born that bring the future closer and make AI a part of everyday life.
The competition brought together 17 teams from Qostanai, Astana, Petropavlovsk, and Karaganda.
Baitursynuly University was represented by the “Khabovskiye” team, composed of students from the Departments of Agricultural Engineering and Transport, and Biology, Ecology, and Chemistry. Our talented second-year students, Mikhail Zhigalko and Nikita Gresko, confidently presented their project.
Their development, LKP AI / NOVA, was recognized as the best solution in the Allur Company case, earning the team a well-deserved victory and the main prize.
