At the Kostanay Regional Historical and Local Lore Museum a round-table event titled “Chokan Valikhanov – the Glorious Son of the Kazakh People”, dedicated to his 190th anniversary, was held.
Among the invited participants were the region’s scholars — and only three students stood on equal footing with them. All three are from Baitursynuly University!
Who spoke? Students of the “History and Social Studies” educational programme at the university’s pedagogical institute:
Each prepared a serious research paper, a vivid presentation and materials for scientific publication.
Their scientific supervisor – Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Aibek Shalgymbekov of Baitursynuly University.
According to the professor, the students completed serious research work in just two months and achieved high results.
