The theme of the conference was “Technologies and Innovations in Educational Practice: New Challenges and Effective Solutions.”
Modern education represents a synergy of traditional pedagogical values and the opportunities offered by digital technologies. During the conference, educators presented new ideas, shared effective methodologies, and discussed practical approaches to teaching in a rapidly changing world.
This year, the Altynsarin Readings were held for the 21st time, once again serving as a dynamic platform for dialogue among university professors, college instructors, and school teachers from Kazakhstan and abroad. Participants represented nearly ten countries. Special recognition was given to the University’s long-standing partners: Professor Eva Smetanova of Comenius University (Slovakia), Professor Elena Berezhnova of MGIMO University (Russia), and Professor Olga Bessert of the Western Branch of the Presidential Academy of the Russian Federation.
More than 700 participants took part in the conference, many of whom joined in an online format.
The range of topics covered was diverse. Participants discussed the development of social intelligence in future educators, the cultivation of students’ soft skills, the implementation of STEAM technologies in secondary schools, and the creation of a safe educational environment.
Particular attention was paid to the opportunities offered by digital educational environments when working with children with special educational needs.
