At the end of November, the International Agricultural Symposium of the Youth of the Turkic World was held in Turkey (Tokat) at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University.
The event was attended by a professor from KRU.
The symposium brought together scholars and students from Turkic-speaking countries – Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Northern Cyprus.
Kazakhstan was represented at the plenary session of the forum by Associate Professor Niyazbek Kalimov from the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, KRU, who was invited as a speaker.
The Candidate of Agricultural Sciences delivered a presentation titled "Agriculture of Kazakhstan: Past, Present, and Future."
Students from various cities in Turkey, as well as representatives from Turkic-speaking republics, were invited to participate in the cultural program. They enriched the forum with national motifs through folk instruments, songs, dances, and traditional cuisine.
Excursions to the historic part of Tokat were organized for the symposium participants. The city recently celebrated its 950th anniversary.
The forum was held in the spirit of fulfilling the main goal of the Organization of Turkic States: to further deepen comprehensive cooperation between Turkic-speaking countries and ensure peace and stability in the region and the world.
