In his speech, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid special attention to the development of science and scientific projects, speaking about improving the quality of research activities.
In this regard, the scientific community has a great responsibility. In the near future, the integration of scientific research into production processes will take place. And this should radically affect the development of the country's economy.
Given the importance of this area, the role of National Scientific Councils is also increasing. National scientific councils are collegial bodies in the areas of scientific development. Their main tasks are to determine the forms and amounts of funding, assess projects and the needs of the republic in new scientific areas, competitive selection, and monitoring research.
It is the NSC that decides which projects will receive money and which will not, which are important for the state and which are not.
This year, scientists from A. Baitursynov Kostanay State University also joined such Councils.
By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 13, 2020 for No 290, the composition of national scientific councils in the areas of "Scientific Foundations "Mangilik El" and "Sustainable Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex and Safety of Agricultural Products" was approved. These groups included professors and scientists of our university!
We hope that the scientists of our university will cope with this responsible mission for the benefit of the development of Kazakhstani science!
