The Olympiad was held in Karaganda. The event was organized by Karaganda Buketov University and the research center Tulgatanu Research Center.
The competition was dedicated to the 160th anniversary of Alikhan Bokeikhanov.
The aim of the Olympiad was to reconsider the scientific and spiritual legacy of the figures of the Alash movement and to highlight their role in the development of national science and education.
More than 50 students took part in the intellectual competition, while over 70 applications were submitted by students from universities across Kazakhstan.
KRU was represented at the Olympiad by students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities enrolled in the “Historical Education” program: Dilnaz Ismailova, Perizat Musa, Ayaulym Zhumadauletova, Dias Tashbayev, Anastasia Kitaeva, and Kairat Zhalgasbay.
Following the first round, five of our students advanced to the second stage, where participants were required to write an essay.
Based on the results of the two rounds, the winners were awarded diplomas, commemorative gifts, and books.
Anastasia Kitaeva, a student of Akhmet Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University, was awarded the First-Degree Diploma.
This victory represents a significant achievement for our university and confirms the high level of training provided to future historians.
We congratulate our students on their excellent results and are proud of their accomplishments.
