“Sultangazin Readings”: Where NEW MEANINGS Are Born

The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Sultangazin Readings” was held today at Baitursynuly University.

The event brought together scholars, faculty members, and young researchers from Kazakhstan and abroad at the Pedagogical Institute named after Academician Umirzak Sultangazin.

This year’s conference focused on the theme: “Traditions and Innovations in Modern Education.”

In her welcoming remarks, Elmira Nauryzbayeva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at KRU, noted:

“It is here, at the Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute, that new meanings, ideas, and scientific solutions have been born for many years.
The purpose of today’s conference is to unite the academic community so that together we can discuss trends in modern education, the integration of artificial intelligence, the development of digital technologies, and new approaches to physics-mathematics and professional training.”

At the plenary session, presentations were delivered by speakers representing universities in Kazakhstan and abroad:

The speakers addressed key issues and approached their presentations creatively and thoughtfully.

This simple exercise demonstrated how metacognition works—our ability to understand our own thought processes—precisely the area the professor studies.

After the plenary session, participants continued their discussions across thematic sections.

The rooms buzzed with debate, questions, ideas, and practical case discussions.

Main focus areas of the conference included:

The conference brought together more than two hundred participants and proved to be dynamic and productive.

Many attendees noted that they were leaving with new ideas and a renewed sense of confidence that the education of the future is being shaped here and now.
