On the last day of April, the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference "Baitursynov Readings-2021" was held at the A. Baitursynov KRU on the topic "Independent Kazakhstan: achievements and successes as a reliable basis for building a dynamically developing state in the XXI century".
For the third year in a row, within the framework of the Baitursynov Readings, the Department of Journalism and Communication Management organizes the work of the scientific panel session "Journalism and PR: New Challenges of the Time" in an online format. Scientists, teachers, students, undergraduates, doctoral students from Kostanay Regional University and the partner university - South Ural State University (Chelyabinsk, Russian Federation), discussed the most pressing problems of modern journalism and PR communications.
The moderator of the session, Candidate of Sciences (Philology), Associate Professor of the Higher Attestation Commission Almatai Zhusupova, notes the presentation of colleagues from SUSU: Doctor of Sciences (Philology), Professor of the Department of Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Elena Khakimova, and Alena Klimova, a Bachelor's student majoring in Advertising and Public Relations. They presented a report on one of the relevant topics today: "PR support for the activities of a medical organization during the pandemic".
The participants of the session - teachers and students of the Department of Journalism and Communication Management expressed a unanimous opinion: all the reports were so interesting that they did not notice how 3 hours of the online meeting flew by. The resolution of the panel session follows quite naturally from the content of the presented reports: to continue to involve young people in scientific research of Kazakhstani journalism, public relations and strengthen international cooperation with partner universities.
