The graduation ceremony was opened by Seitbek Kuanyshbayev, Rector of Kostanay Regional University.
“Dear parents and graduates, today is a joyful day for all of us. Four years ago, you crossed the threshold of our university as first-year students, and today, by receiving your diplomas, you have fulfilled our hopes and expectations. I am confident that you will make a meaningful contribution to the development of our country. Congratulations once again!”
The graduates were joined by distinguished guests representing government institutions, the business community, the banking sector, and leading organizations. They came not only to congratulate the graduates but also bearing memorable gifts and special surprises.
Warm wishes were also expressed by Bakytzhan Narymbetov, Deputy Akim of Kostanay Region.
“What beautiful and happy graduates! Congratulations to our young people! Alikhan Bokeikhan once said, ‘Service to the nation is determined not by knowledge, but by character.’ It is honesty, responsibility, and love for one's homeland that enable knowledge to be used for the benefit of the country. Since 2021, KRU has been implementing a Dual Degree Programme in partnership with Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas, Lithuania), which is ranked among the top 750 universities worldwide according to the QS World University Rankings. The partnership encompasses both academic and research collaboration.
This year, two students of the Accounting and Auditing program at the Faculty of Economics and Law—Aqanseri Yeshchan and Tomiris Raisova—successfully completed the dual degree programme. Their studies were carried out in both Kostanay and Kaunas.
During the graduation ceremony, the students received two diplomas—one from Kostanay Regional University and one from Vytautas Magnus University.
