Sporty. United. And incredibly fun! This is how the final day of the Faculty and Staff Championship at Baitursynuly University came to an end.
The decisive stage was vibrant and energetic. Participants competed in darts, arkan tartu (tug of war), tayak tartu (stick pulling), and relay races — sports where teamwork, mutual support, athletic spirit, and positive energy play a crucial role.
A total of 96 participants (52 women and 44 men) took part in darts, 34 competitors in stick pulling, 4 teams in tug of war, and 6 teams in the relay race.
The highlight of the day was the sports relay “Fun Starts.”
Even the most serious colleagues could not hide their emotions: they ran, jumped, laughed, encouraged one another, and for a while forgot that they were surrounded by distinguished professors, researchers, and deans.
This day became a wonderful opportunity to step away from daily routines, communicate outside offices and classrooms, and simply enjoy movement and shared activity.
In addition, a generous dastarkhan was prepared for the KRU team at the “Sұңqar” Sports Complex.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Department of Youth Policy and the University Trade Union for their support and organization.
The Faculty and Staff Championship at KRU serves as a powerful internal driver that brings us together, regardless of faculties, departments, or divisions.
According to the organizers, participation this year was especially high — a clear sign that KRU’s engagement and activity continue to grow.
The Sports Week has come to an end, but the energy, competitive spirit, and positive attitude will certainly remain for a long time. We look forward to welcoming our students back — energized and motivated!
And… on to new starts, KRU!
