A dissertation defense for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) will be held at A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University. Anara Muratovna Mendybayeva will defend her dissertation entitled: “Investigation of the Phenotypic and Genotypic Resistance Characteristics of Salmonella enterica Strains Circulating in the Northern Region of Kazakhstan” submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 6D120200 – Veterinary Sanitation.
The research was conducted in the Microbiology and Molecular Genetic Analysis Laboratories of the Research Institute of Applied Biotechnology of A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University, the Microbiology Laboratory of the Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (Kaunas, Lithuania), and the Laboratory of Chemical and Molecular Genetic Research and Analysis of the Research Center for Microbiology and Virology LLP (Almaty, Kazakhstan).
