The students are in their second year of the Journalism educational program and will spend two semesters at KRU as part of the university’s internal academic mobility program.
Arman Khabdulin, Head of the Department of Academic Development at Ualikhanov University, familiarized himself with the learning environment at KRU and thanked the university administration for its commitment to developing joint educational initiatives.
Addressing the students, he emphasized that academic mobility provides an opportunity to gain new experience, broaden professional competencies, sharpen journalistic skills, and build valuable professional connections.
Alibek Tabuldenov, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at KRU, spoke about the Department of Journalism’s 30 years of experience and its graduates, many of whom now work for regional and national media outlets.
Particular attention was given to the practical component of journalism education. This year, the Department opened a modern media studio, providing students with new opportunities to develop hands-on professional skills.
Students from Ualikhanov University will also have access to the new media studio during their studies at KRU.
