The training session with a first-year student group helped identify key areas of concern and development among students.
In addition, since January, a student with special educational needs has been studying in the group.
At present, students are undergoing an adaptation process both to one another and to learning within the framework of a universal design for inclusive education.
The training exercises were aimed at fostering acceptance of diversity and inclusion, developing empathy, and forming a culture of support.
Particular attention was paid to developing communication skills (initiating contact and maintaining dialogue), improving self-esteem and self-image, building confidence in social and academic situations, as well as enhancing self-regulation and planning skills.
The group work will continue, and for future psychologists, this experience provided valuable practice in supporting inclusion and delivering psychological support in an educational setting.
